​This blog is created from a love of books, and analytically looking through them and their themes.  My name is Avery (not my legal name no), also known as Paperwitches! I am a POC reviewer and huge fan of horror, romance, fantasy, and nonfiction - and very rarely stray away from these genres. As a result, my reviews are not often of bestsellers or most tbr's. If you're into indie reading or aren't a fan of what's on the bestseller lists, this is the place for you. 

My love of books came from a disability and severe epilepsy that caused me to forget how to read at 10 years old. My mother and aunts encouraged me with Goosebumps and Little women - and it took 2 years until I was finally reading level but at that point my love for reading couldn't be stopped. My main pastime is reading, as I cannot watch much TV due to my epilepsy - but most of the time life is good with me and my books.

I mostly post reviews, book hauls, monthly wrap-ups, and book recommendation lists - at least twice a week.
